To strengthen our Photo Studio Teams we are looking for a photographer trainee (m/f/d) for the coming training year. We are active in Munich and the surrounding area, operate two photo studios and are active in the areas of private and business photography. We are a warm, committed and open-minded team and we are very excited to receive your creative application.
Working as a photographer is a dream for many. Capturing the visual experience in a photo and being able to optimize it is art and craft at the same time. In order to learn the profession of photographer and to contribute your experience to photography, you need good and well-founded training. We offer these to you and look forward to showing you all facets of photography.
To introduce you to the art of photography, we'll take you by the hand. You will get to know our photo studios in Munich and learn how to work professionally with our customers. Together we will develop your potential so that you can learn all aspects of the profession of photographer.
The profession of photographer has changed a lot over the decades and has arrived in the digital world. While back then you still had to spend your work in the darkroom and you had to wait hours for the visible photo, today everything is lightning-fast, digital and processing is done using various photo editing programs. This work will also be part of your training.

Thousands of practice photos, shoots with friends or family, hours of image retouching, training and report book assignments. Yes, the three years of training to become a photographer are packed with important topics. But why one? education? And why is this so important for us at Photogenika?
In our photo studios in Munich, customers are almost always from learned photographers or photographed by our trainees. Because we at Photogenika attach great importance to proper training. Therefore, you don't have to worry about having to photograph the customers yourself if you're not ready for it. With us, you can only approach the customer when there is nothing left to complain about.
As in any professional training, one thing is very important: practice!
Many, many shootings for friends, family or work colleagues are part of the training of a photographer. Only then can the customer be served, advised and photographed professionally. However, our trainees at Photogenika not only learn camera technology, lighting and posing, we also care about friendly contact with our customers.

You deal intensively with a wide variety of topics in photography for three years. Photographing aperture series, experimenting with exposure times, trying out light shapers in the studio and so much more cannot be learned overnight.
